Become a Springfield Armory NHS Junior Ranger!

Springfield Armory NHS is proud to offer three different Junior Ranger programs, perfect for those of all ages from 4 to 100! Our Junior Ranger Programs have various activites that inlcude drawing, matching, writing, and scavenger hunts which provided a guided learning experice about Springfield Armory for everyone. For adults we have crafted a Master Armorer Program which will challenge you to learn not only about Springfield Armory but also Pioneer Valley and the National Parks in New England.

When you visit, come to the front desk and ask for our Junior Ranger Book. Upon completion bring it to a Park Ranger who will review it with you and then swear you in as a Junior Ranger of Springfield Armory NHS.

If you are unable to visit Springfield Armory but would like to complete our Junior Ranger Program, download a copy of the book, complete the required activites and then mail it to us. We will review your book and a mail back your Junior Ranger badge. This does not apply to our Master Armorer program because much of the book requires you to walk around our musem to find the answers you seek.
