San Juan Island is a popular place for photography. Wildlife photographers can find foxes, whales, butterflies, eagles, and a wide variety of insects to snap pictures of. If you're interested in stunning vistas or historic structures, American Camp and English Camp are exciting places to capture the beauty of the Salish Sea and its surroundings.

San Juan Island is a delight for all of the senses, but especially the eyes. Our park rangers and volunteers want you to get a sense of what you might see during your visit so we've been taking pictures and sharing them here on the internet. These links give you a sense of our past public events, what our resident wildlife are up to, and what San Juan Island National Historical Park is like in spring, summer, fall, and winter. If you've taken a beautiful picture of our park, we'd love for you to tag us on social media; we'd be delighted to share it with the world!
