Update: Site Observation Update Week of Nov 4th

November 09, 2019 Posted by: Anna Mateljak
The second week of construction efforts continue with setting up a construction support system, such as dumpsters, a water tank, and the work trailer. Incoming equipment was properly treated to prevent introduction and spread of invasive, nonnative species.

In order to continue prepping the site, removing various barriers such as split rail fencing, the old visitor center building, and reusable signage was completed. Green practices were taken into place on concrete and steel for salvaging and recycling.

The old electrical meter was replaced and readied for activation, while the septic tank perimeter was excavated for future removal with onsite archeological monitoring.
