Update: Site Observation Update Week Mar 23rd
Work on the project this week has seen some impact from both wet weather, and the developing health emergency declared by Governor Inslee on March 22nd. Project managers from parties involved with the project convened via teleconference to discuss the governor's order and implications of the order for this project.
After consulting with officials at the governor's office, project managers have determined that this project, and presumably others like it, are exempted by the state from the stay at home order. HBH, our construction partner, is therefore continuing with limited activities - primarily framing – and a smaller workforce during the next several weeks. HBH’s supervisor, and our oversight partners are tracking and enforcing all pertinent safety and distancing protocols, and monitoring the health of all workers. No sub-contractors are expected to be introduced into the project during the mandated “stay at home” period.

Framing work is continuing though all site work. Due to rainy weather throughout the week, concrete pours have been cancelled for the interpretive plaza, and elsewhere until drier conditions prevail.
In photograph A, you can clearly see the laminated structural verticals providing the main support for the structure above, and for the roof to come.

Photograph B shows the sheathing on the back of the building, and the window cutouts that will receive windows in the near-future.
Photograph C shows the front of the structure, and the brackets that have been installed for trellis support at the entryway.
