Update: Site Observation Update Week of March 16th

March 21, 2020 Posted by: Ranger Jeff

This week construction is focused on framing interior spaces, and sheathing of the framing that was the primary focus last week. The focused work at this point in the project is indicative of a maturing project. This means that many of the major project components have been started, and work now is focused primarily on building out those pieces rather than starting new project pieces. This is also indicative of a project with good momentum.

(A) Work crews sheath the southern exterior wall.

Note that there are no windows on the southern exposure in order to provide sufficient interior wall space for planned exhibits and graphics. This will also help keep the building cooler as warm summer afternoons progress.

The interior walls for staff administrative workspace, and public restrooms are taking shape in the northwest corner.
