As will be the case moving forward, much of the work is very focused on rounding out work already started. Concrete floor finishing/polishing activities are complete for the interior with a final sealer coat just applied. A clear coat finish is being applied to exterior glue-lams (support beams) with metal end cap flashing installation on high beams. The cedar channel horizontal siding and cedar tongue and groove soffit installation is continuing around the structure and looks great. Concrete pours are continuing around parking lots and the entry plaza driveway curbs, and these now clearly define driveway and walkway perimeters. Finally, park staff toured the site and left pleased with the work and its quality.
It’s important to note that all crew members are employing all those health and safety measure that we are all practicing, including social distancing. Work crew members are being monitored regularly, and sanitation facilities are available for the crew. While the project is certainly important, the health and safety of employees and workers is much more important.

(B) Beautiful! In photo (B) we see the natural cedar soffit under the roofline, a nice accent to the cedar siding.
(C) Below, the polished and sealed concrete floor inside the building is not only tough and serviceable, it reflects the natural light coming from outside bringing a natural feel to the interior.

(D) With the forms removed we can see the concrete curb that was poured earlier.

(E) We ended the week with a walk through by park staff who were very pleased. We look forward to the hand-over in October.
