Update: Site Observation Update Week of Feb 17th

February 22, 2020 Posted by: Anna Mateljak
This week it finally felt like the season was changing with beautiful sunny weather! Monday consisted of prep-work for the pour by creating the formwork around the pier supports for the visitor center entry trellis and erecting internal steel posts supports. Tuesday’s concrete pour for the foundation slab and trellis support piers was successful. While the cement dried, the slab was cleaned up with grinding and smoothing the surfaces and sawcutting control joints. Work started on the construction of lower parking lot eastern rock wall.
