Heather Olson and Andrew Polta, of The Public Archaeology Laboratory, Inc., will discuss the Providence Cove Lands Project; a large-scale archaeological excavation undertaken in downtown Providence during the early 1980s. Their presentation will discuss the history and archaeology of the North Shore Site, focusing on the nineteenth-century residents of Snowtown and their participation in and influence on urban life in Providence.
