  International Archeology Day is celebrated at Fort
  Stanwix National Monument, where archeology is
  one of the main resources of the park. Visitors have
  an opportunity to talk with archeologists, see tools
  and equipment the profession uses, and tour the
  archeology museum collections housed at the park.
  This year’s event will also celebrate the 50th anniversary
  of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA)
  signed on October 15th, 1966.
