The Michigan History Center and the Michigan Freedom Trail Commission are hosting a gathering for individuals, organizations and communities interested in developing better ways to promote our statewide Underground Railroad heritage. The goal is to create a regional collaboration effort, including the beginnings of a statewide network aimed at initiating and sustaining conversations and synergies. We hope this will lead to more information sharing, collaborative projects, joint grants and a host of other benefits, including opportunities related to heritage tourism and economic development.

The day will be aimed at networking, information sharing, and developing our next steps. Join us and become part of the conversation!
