Fee-Free Day

  • 04/21/2018 Location: Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine, Fee Information: Free
Join us for the second fee-free day of the year as the National Park Service and the National Park Foundation kick off the first day of National Park Week and National Junior Ranger Day! National Park Week is a time to explore new places, start a new adventure, or reconnect with your favorite park.  Visit Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine on April 21st and learn more about the War of 1812, attend a program about the writing of 'The Star-Spangled Banner,' walk the scenic grounds, or assist a park ranger in changing the morning or evening flag!

We'll also be celebrating National Junior Ranger Day!  Kids of all ages are invited to learn, explore, and earn their very own Junior Ranger badge as they become the next generation of stewards of America's national parks.
