Optional Items to Bring: binoculars, a red light, and insect repellent.

Night Sky Observations through telescopes and binoculars at the north end of Parking Lot #1
(Subject to cancellation due to inclement weather; parking available in parking lots #2-4;refuge closes at 10 p.m.)
This series is a collaboration between Assateague Island National Seashore, Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge, Delmarva Space Sciences Foundation, and NASA Wallops Flight Facility Visitor Center. Delmarva Space Sciences Foundation provides expertise and high-powered telescopes for these events.
