    May is Migration Month!
Join us to welcome back our summer birds – Baltimore & Orchard Orioles, Eastern Kingbirds, and Scarlet Tanagers as well as looking for seasonal and migrating warblers, Yellow, Red Start, Black-Throated Green, plus more.

    June–August
Park meadows are alive with Song Sparrows, Goldfinches, Eastern Phoebes, Eastern Meadowlarks, Barn Swallows, Mockingbirds, and American Kestrels. Hear Wood Thrushes, Red-eyed Vireos, and Eastern Wood-Pewees on the edges of the Park. Enjoy the fun of observing all the immature birds as they fledge.

Join us to say good-bye to the birds that migrate south. Common observations are large flocks of familiar birds as well as birds just passing through. Particular observations include Black & White Warblers, Kinglets, Palm Warblers, Magnolia Warblers, and much more.
