Junior Ranger Day and Homestead Open House

• 07/29/2017 Location: Visitor center area and Hornbek Homestead, Time: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM Fee Information: $5.00 per adult (15 and younger free) interagency passes accepted
  Explore Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument with a family friendly day of homesteading fun and Junior Ranger activities!  
  
  Junior GeoCamp
  Participate in hands-on geology activiites and learn how a geologist works.  Meet outside the yurt in the picnic area every hour on the hour for a new activity.  Make a planet Earth model, take part in a simulated fossil dig, and create your own fossil. 
  
  
  Hornbek Homestead
  Join a ranger for a tour of the 1878 Hornbek Homestead and play 19th century games on the grounds of this National Historic Landmark.
