10-year old Carrie Berry began her diary shortly before her tenth birthday. She recorded with fair regularity her life and the events around her as her home city, Atlanta, fell to Union forces. Discover what life was life in the middle of a war zone and how a family coped through the words of young Miss Berry.
The program is free and open to the public; no pre-registration is required. The program will also take place rain or shine. Be mindful that the subject matter, while kid-friendly, is more appropriate for children ages eight and up.
