As Northwest New Jersey is an area rich with compelling untold stories, course participants will develop an original photo story based on the locality (ex. a local event like the NJ State Fair, historic location, or person). Participants of all levels of photography will have the opportunity to seek rich subject matter and share how dynamics in storytelling through photos with captions can change day to day. The instructor will accompany each participant at various times throughout the course. This workshop will also include building a shot list and discussion each afternoon with personal and group reviews for story development. Everyone will come away with a documentary photo project completed or (if one wishes) to be continued, of eight 8 1/2 x 11 inkjet portfolio prints. Beginner and Beyond
