Volunteers are needed to help preserve rare and endangered plant species at Lake Mead. Volunteers will remove invasive plants that threaten native species from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 24. Join a ranger to learn about Sahara Mustard and how it impacts plant ecosystems. Volunteers will travel by boat to a selected cove to help remove this noxious plant. Volunteers must be able to bend, stoop and kneel
