Apply for and Manage a Grant

Workflow diagram to apply for grants

Getting Ready to Apply

If you are interested in applying for one of the National Park Service's grants you must first begin by registering with several web-based financial assistance systems that are used by all grant applicants, recipients, and managers. Once you have registered with these systems, you will be able to develop and submit your grant application, receive a grant award, and manage your grant throughout its entire lifecycle. This article series is designed to aid all parties of the federal grant process in understanding the purpose and use of each of these financial assistance systems.

Each article in this series will focus on one financial assistance system or system feature by explaining who uses the system and how. These articles provide step-by-step instructions on how to navigate, add required data to, and check information within each financial assistance system. Links to system main sites, user technical support services, help desks, and other important webpages are found throughout each system page. A table with important links can be found at the upper right corner of each article in this series.

Registration in these financial assistance systems is, without exception, free.
