Description
Since 2016, Dr. Heather Heckel has served in 22 artist-in-residence programs across the National Park Service and Bureau of Land Management. During this talk at the Jemez Fine Art Gallery in Jemez Springs, Heckel will discuss her experience as an artist-in-residence for the National Park Service. She'll be showing her work in progress at Valles Caldera National Preserve, and discuss the materials and techniques she's using to interpret the park's flora, fauna, history, and culture.
