Have you ever wondered why Osceola is buried at Fort Moultrie? How did this Seminole warrior end up as a prisoner of the US Army at a fort in Charleston Harbor?

Join a ranger to learn more about Osceola's significance in American history, his importance in the Second Seminole War, and the role slavery played in this conflict.

This event serves to provide a historical interpretation of Osceola' life while the theatrical production, Osceola's  Muse, is performed on Sullivan's Island at Battery Gadsden.
