Lincoln Birthday Celebration
The Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park welcomes park visitors to observe the 216th anniversary of the birth of our 16th President on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. Park Staff will place a floral wreath at the Symbolic Birth Cabin and will replace the park’s current American Flag. A new, larger flag will take its place. This event will begin at 9:30 a.m. (EST) Kids can also join in on the activities by creating their own cabin out of popsicle sticks. This activity will run from 11:00 a.m until 4:00 p.m. (EST) that day. All activities are free and open to the public.
