Description
Learn about the intelligence of beavers and their reintroduction to Bandelier by viewing their dams along Frijoles Canyon. Prepare for a 7-mile roundtrip hike with moderate 575ft elevation gain.
Participants must wear sturdy shoes and be in physically fit condition for the hike. Bring a pack including 3-4 Liters of water, snacks/lunch, a rain jacket, sunscreen, hat, and any necessary medications, epi-pens, or inhalers.
Meet in front of the Bandelier National Monument Visitor Center.
