Join the Museum of African American History for a special presentation on Wake Up America: Black Women and the Future of Democracy, a new anthology that brings together the voices of major progressive Black women politicians, grassroots activists, and intellectuals who offer insights on how we can create a more equitable political future. Learn more about this project through a panel discussion featuring the book's editor Dr. Keisha N. Blain, who will be joined by contributors Kim Janey and Renée Graham. This conversation will be moderated by Zenzile Riddick from Harvard's Graduate School of Education. Be sure to stay until the end to meet the panelists for a book signing at the end of the event.
