“Beat! beat! drums! – blow! bugles! blow!”
Pea Ridge National Military Park will conduct the program, "Beat! beat! drums! - blow! bugles! blow!" on Saturday, March 9th, at 1:30 p.m. at the Elkhorn Tavern (Tour Stop 8). Music played an important part in mid nineteenth century, whether to ease the boredom of camp life or to help direct troops on the field of battle. Come hear the sounds of Civil War Field Music. Please consider the 25-minute driving time from the park’s entrance to the tavern parking lot in your planning. Please continue to be weather-aware for the day of the program. All programs at the park are subject to change.
