Description
Join park partner, Virginia Master Naturalists - Merrimac Farm Chapter, to take a closer look at the many butterflies that call this park home! Make seed balls with butterfly friendly native plant seeds and take an up-close look at butterflies using magnifying glass and a microscope. Also take the opportunity to make butterfly themed crafts and participate in a butterfly catch and release. All craft supplies will be provided and this is a great opportunity for kids to learn more about butterflies!
