Description

Dr. Woody Holton, a distinguished Professor of History at the University of South Carolina, explores themes from his recent, acclaimed ground-breaking book, "Liberty is Sweet: The Hidden History of the American Revoluiton." Professor Holton is the author of several books on American history, including the award winning, "Abigail Adams: A Life."

This presentation marks the 17th annual Aronson Memorial Lecture, named for Fran Aronson, a devoted volunteer at St. Paul's in the 1980s and 1990s. We welcome and encourage live attendance, but we will also be offering a livestreaming of the talk, through shared platform.  To receive the link to that platform, please respond through the Contact Us e mail in this calendar entry.  At the site, a reception with light refreshments will follow Professor Holton's talk.
