Join a ranger-led programĀ as we discuss the history of Rush, Arkansas from its rise in the zinc mining boom in the late 1800s up to its gradual decline in the first half of the twentieth century. We will examine the importance of zinc and the economic causes that turned this once thriving settlement of over 2000 people into the ghost town it is today.
