Night Skies Over Nemo on February 28, 2022
Join our Dark Sky Ranger on February 28 at 7:30 p.m. to enjoy the spectacular dark skies over the historic Nemo Bridge. Telescopes will be available to view the wispy Orion Nebula, the Pleiades Star Cluster, and other stellar objects. Surrounded by the sounds of the Emory River, the Nemo Bridge is a great location to view the most prominent constellation in the winter sky, Orion the Hunter!
This event is subject to clear-sky weather conditions. In the event of inclement weather or cloud cover, the event may be cancelled. Be sure to call the Obed Visitor Center before 5 p.m. on the day of the event to confirm the status of the event. Amateur astronomers are also invited to bring their telescopes to join our program and may contact the visitor center for more information.
