“Days of Peace and Remembrance” Lights for Peace [Los Alamos, NM]

On August 7 at 7:00 pm MDT, the park will host a Lights for Peace event at Ashley Pond in Los Alamos, NM. The program features display luminarias with messages of peace from the public along a path that participants are encouraged to walk for a quiet, contemplative experience.

If you can't attend, you are able to ring a virtual bell on the park’s webpage from 6:oo a.m. EDT on August 6 through midnight PDT on August 9.The International Friendship Bell is a symbol of unity and will carry the message of peace and international friendship into the future.
