Description

Professor Eleanor Drabo is the former director and currently a lecturer at the Department of Ethnic and Race Studies at BMCC-CUNY. She has accomplished extensive research in the field of African and African American history. Professor Drabo has taught several courses at the Borough of Manhattan Community College, Adelphi University and Trident Technical College. She has traveled extensively and instructed study abroad courses in Senegal, Egypt, and Brazil. Professor Drabo's goal is to introduce, exchange, and inspire the desire for inquiry and knowledge of Africa and the African Diaspora.
