Description
This 4-5 mile hike is designed to pick up where the Path of the Flood Hike-Part I ends in Franklin Borough, though participating in the first hike is not a necessary prerequisite to either participate in or enjoy this hike. After checking in and a brief orientation at the park Visitor Center, hikers will be shuttled to Franklin Borough. From there, the hike will wind through East Conemaugh, Woodvale, and downtown Johnstown, ending at the Stone Bridge. At the Stone Bridge hikers will be shuttled back to the park. This hike is more urban than the version one hike; the terrain is mainly even, but we will be sharing the road with vehicles and other pedestrians.
