Description
Petroglyph has extremely limited parking throughout the monument. Please only use areas mentioned below for eclipse viewing. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking lots will close when full. Do not park along the sides of the road inside or outside of the monument.
The entirety of Albuquerque is in the direct path of the eclipse, and barring bad weather, there will be an excellent view of the eclipse from anywhere in the city. If our parking lots are full there will be plenty of other viewing locations throughout Albuquerque.

For Your Safety:
Do not look directly at the sun without proper solar viewing devices during any point of the eclipse.
Do not look at the eclipse through binoculars or a camera without the safe and proper solar filters equipped on the device. Wearing personal solar viewing protection like solar glasses will not protect you from concentrated rays through unfiltered binoculars, telescopes, or cameras.
Do not attempt to view the eclipse while driving. Be parked in a safe and proper location.
