The Lunar New Year Drawing Workshop
This hands-on art-making workshop is designed for children ages three to ten and their caretakers. Registration is required on first-come first-served basis. Please register all children who will be attending, and their accompanying adult(s). Materials will be provided at the workshop. Please note: parents/guardians must stay with their children during the workshop.
Celebrate the Year of the Dragon with GWMP’s Diversity Advisory Group in this Art & Children: The Lunar New Year Drawing Workshop at Glen Echo Park! with the support of Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture. Learn how to draw dragons and other zodiac animals on traditional red envelopes and enjoy a ranger talk about wildlife designed for children. Visitors also have a chance to earn a junior ranger badge by completing the Glen Echo Park Jr. Ranger Booklet.
