Description
Most visitors experience Guadalupe Mountains under the light of our nearest star – the sun. But on a clear night with no moon, the park is bathed in starlight from across the millennia. Meet at the Pine Springs Amphitheatre at 7:30pm for a ranger facilitated nigh-sky program.
Parking is limited around the amphitheater. Campers should plan on walking up from their campsites. Other visitors should plan on parking at the Pine Springs Visitor Center and walking to the amphitheater. Red-colored flashlights are encouraged so that you can walk safely to the program area, while allowing your eyes to adjust to the dark.
