Plan to take the 9:25am ferry from Sayville if coming from Long Island.
Description
Take the 9:30 ferry from Sayville to Cherry Grove and meet up with a ranger at the ferry dock for a walk from the Grove to Fire Island National Seashore, exploring the rich and varied natural and cultural landscape. You may return to Cherry Grove on foot/by water taxi or take the ferry from Sailors Haven back to Sayville.
