Description
Beat the heat of the day by joining a ranger for some evening exercise along the Fossil Discovery Trail. Enjoy the transition from dusk to evening along this 2-mile (3.2 km) round-trip hike. Meet your guide at the Stegosaurus statue in front of the Quarry Visitor Center.
This hike is 2 miles (3.2 km) round-trip, and climbs about 200 feet (61 meters) in elevation. We recommend bringing plenty of water, wearing layers, and bug spray. Please wear closed-toed shoes for walking through unpaved sandy and rocky areas. The trail is muddy and slippery when wet. This trail is not ADA accessible. Pets and animals who provide only comfort or emotional support are prohibited on this trail.
