Hike Zuma Canyon Trail with Ranger Mithra and learn about mountain lions!

Hike with Ranger Mithra and learn about the protection and survival of the park’s last large mammal carnivores. Hear what wildlife biologists are discovering from a 17-year study and explore the puma’s unique challenges in the nation’s largest urban park.

The moderately-strenuous hike will be about 3 miles round trip on the Ocean/Canyon View Loop at Zuma Canyon with an elevation gain of around 600 feet. Hike will vary between steep elevation gains and some rocky terrain at a few locations.

Bring sun protection, water and sturdy shoes. Meet in parking lot at north end of Bonsall Drive in Malibu. The hike and parking are free.
