Description

Join us on Saturday, July 26, for a unique opportunity to explore the rich history of Shiloh National Military Park with Ranger Anthony Killion. This special driving tour, titled “Shiloh: Then & Now,” invites visitors to journey back in time to the establishment of the park in December 1894 and discover the significant transformations that have taken place over the past 130 years.

Date and Time: Saturday, July 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Location: Begins at the Shiloh Visitor Center

Format: Car caravan (limited to 10 vehicles)

Participants are advised to dress appropriately for the weather, prepare for short walks on easy, flat terrain, and bring sufficient water. Insect repellant is also recommended to enhance comfort during the tour.

Attendees with an interest in post-Civil War history or curiosity about park management throughout the years are encouraged to reserve a spot by calling the Shiloh Visitor Center at (731) 689-5696.
