Description
Ignite your competitive spirit by joining Hot Springs National Park for a trash clean-up competition to celebrate National Public Lands Day!
Form a team or participate as an individual. The task is simple: You have one day to pick up as much trash as you can from Hot Springs National Park, any Garland County park, (including Northwoods Trails!) and/or any Hot Springs municipal park or trail.
The competition is on Saturday, Sept. 24. All participants should meet on the Arlington Lawn at 8:00 a.m. to pick up trash bags and formally sign up. The competition will conclude with a closing ceremony at 5:00 p.m. on Arlington Lawn.
Collected trash should be brought back to Arlington Lawn at 5:00 p.m. on Sept. 24. Prizes will be awarded to the team and individual who collected the most trash from our public lands.
