Volunteer Invasive Plant Survey at Fort Dupont

Join us on the search for invasive plants like heavenly bamboo and leatherleaf mahonia! These species are listed as early invaders in part of the Early Detection/Rapid Response program. Our goal is to record populations that are present so that they can be treated by the Invasive Plant Management Team.

Meeting Point: We will meet at the community gardens. There is a parking lot off of Fort Dupont Dr SE at 9am.

What to bring:

Layered clothing and close-toed shoes

bug spray

iNaturalist app downloaded on a smartphone
