Description

Join us for a volunteer event on September 24th celebrating National Public Lands Day! National Public Lands Day was created to celebrate the connection between people and green space in their community. We thought the perfect way to spend this day would be with an event strengthening that connection by picking up trash around our most heavily visited areas. Everyone is welcome!

Meet at the Pine Springs Visitor Center on the patio next to the flag pole between 7:45-8am. A ranger will be there to greet you, we will go over some safety topics, pass out items like vests and trash bags, then we will get started! The event will last approximately 2-3 hours, depending on how big the group is.  Please wear long pants and sturdy close toed shoes, bring your sun protection (or other weather appropriate gear), and don't forget your water and snacks!
