Scorpion Hike at Rancho Sierra Vista
The Santa Monica Mountains after dark is a completely different world!
Most of the animals we normally see during the day are fast asleep. But as the sun sets, different kinds of animals, like scorpions, are just waking up.
Yes, we know these critters look terrifying, and that their sting can pack a powerful punch! Doesn’t that just make you want to learn more about them, though?
Join Ranger Aaron on a hike to explore and possibly find some of these fascinating creatures. UV lights will be provided, but they are limited!

Bring flashlights, water, and a jacket. It gets dark out here at night!
