160 years ago the US Army develops and executes a strategy to capture the capital of the Confederacy at Richmond, VA. The ensuing Peninsula Campaign begins on March 17, 1862 with an unprecedented amphibious operation transferring US forces of the Army of the Potomac to Fort Monroe and ended here again some five months later as the US forces. Join us as we explore the Peninsula Campaign 160th: Escalation and Emancipation.
