Description
The America the Beautiful Quarters® Program is a multi-year initiative to honor 56 national parks and other sites. Through this program, five new reverse designs will appear on the quarter each year through 2020, with one design in 2021 to conclude the series. Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve was chosen to represent Kansas.
Due to COVID-19, the in-person special event has been cancelled. The coin will be available from the U.S. Mint and at the Lyon County State Bank at two Emporia, KS locations; 902 Merchant St. and 1202 Industrial on November 25, 2020.
The coins are not available at the preserve.
