Description
Join us for a fun activity at Bent’s Old Fort in La Junta, Colorado. Participants will "trade" furs for beads, make a necklace with reproduction beads and learn about the peaceful fur trade with Native Americans during the mid-1800s. Participants can keep their own bead necklace as a memento. Programs will be on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. The programs will last approximately 1 hour to an hour and a half.
