Description
Take advantage of the Ozarks’ dark skies! The moon will be waning, making for a more clear display of stars. Rangers will provide astronomical interpretation and star-finding during the viewing.
The Ozark National Scenic Riverways has great viewing, as we have minimal light pollution and a quiet atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy the night sky without distraction.
Bring bug spray, chairs or blankets, and flashlights. Telescopes and binoculars are also highly encouraged.
