Description
Join us for this Reduced Barriers Fishing Event on the west side of the park. Meet at the Colorado River near Holzwarth Historic Site. Visitors of all abilities are invited to discover fly fishing! Learn how to read the water an dhow to tie a fly, practice casting, and earn a Jr. Angler Badge. After the fishing event, join the Kawuneeche Valley Restoration Collaborative (KVRC) from 12:30 - 1:30 pm on a walking tour to hear about wetlands restoration in the valley. Event is held in partnership with National Sports Center for the Disabled and is made possible with funding from Rocky Mountain Conservancy and National Park Foundation.
