Description
"Reyes the Pen" invites writers, poets, and wordsmiths to find artistic inspiration in the scientific study of Point Reyes National Seashore! Each day will start with a mini-lecture by scientists working in the park, followed by writing prompts, free writing blocks (and park exploration encouraged), and time to share drafts and perspectives. Selections of submitted works will be shared publicly on or after August 25, 2023, in celebration of artistic expression's inseparable partnership with preservation. Attendance is free and open to all, but seating is only guaranteed for the first fifty people to sign up. RSVP required. Feel free to email Matt Enderle for more information about the event.
