Description

Join National Park Service Ranger, Jerry Hightower and the volunteer staff for a campfire, guided twilight hike, and live owl program presented on the covered upper deck of the Center’s Lodge.  Please bring your own marshmallows if you would like to roast them over an open fire.  Before twilight ends walk along a forest trail on a short, guided hike; enjoying the sights and sounds at sunset.  Discover new facts about the owls of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area and their nocturnal habits.

The live owl program on the covered upper deck will be presented by Chattahoochee Nature Center Naturalists and might include a surprise guest.   After the program remember to join a us for a short twilight hike along the Three Forks Creek Loop Trail.  Enjoy the campfire, the owls, and the winter beauty of the Chattahoochee.
