Fort Pulaski National Monument will honor our nation’s veterans with a special living history weekend November 11th and 12th. Living historians from the 48th New York Volunteer Infantry Regiment will recreate many aspects of daily life inside the Civil War-era post. A variety of programs will be offered giving visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the sights and sounds of the American Civil War.
To commemorate Veterans Day, the National Park Service will waive all entrance fees for Veterans Day! Savannah’s national park – Fort Pulaski National Monument – will be free to visit Saturday, November 11th.
